The Face Behind the Beads

anne in Japan

Anne Quinn has been pursuing her passion of the arts for as long as she can remember.  She took several art classes outside of school, and in high school she was voted best artist her senior year.  She attended University for four years as a fine arts major.  After college, she worked as an Activities Coordinator for an assisted living facility and was in charge of all art enrichment.  Amongst many other activities programs, she ran an arts and crafts class where she taught painting, basic sewing, woodworking, and several various crafts.  After moving to Kansas in 2007, she started to pursue her passions of the arts.  Discovering perler beads for the first time since her early childhood, she developed a love for them and started to create large scale designs.  After an increasing interest displayed by friends and family, she decided to create Pixel Portrayal, as a way to make herself known to her increasing market.
